How faithful are you?

Boyd K. Packer made the following statement in 1962 at Brigham Young University;

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I recognize two kinds of faith. The first is the kind which is apparent in the world. It is the common denominator of most everything that goes on. It is the thing that lets us exist. It is the thing that gives us some hope of getting anything done. Everyone has it, some in a larger measure than others. The second kind of faith, remarkably rare, unusual to find, is the kind of faith that causes things to happen. Faith is a power as real as electricity except a thousand times more powerful. Now did you ever exercise faith—exercise it, practice it, you see, not just take it for granted? When you look at yourself, ask yourself how faithful are you? It is a first principle of the gospel according to the Lord. Is it a first principle in the gospel according to you?

Scripture Mastery Update!

NEWSFLASH...only 29 more scripture mastery scriptures remain to be passed of in my entire class!  That is only 6% of the scripture masteries total. Ten people have completed all 25 SM!  I am really grateful for my fantastic class. I honestly get sad thinking about the end of the year knowing that I will not have all of them again. (Although we are all looking forward to sleeping in!)

I am also super excited to report that I have 14 students with 99% and above attendance.  These young people amaze me!  Though they all say that I give easy makeup assignments, I am impressed that they do the work to get the credit.  As a reminder to those who still need to do makeup work,  there are several makeup opportunities on the blog if anyone is interested! Please look in your email for a list of those entries that can be done for makeup work.
